Dice & Ice is a charitable event in support of the Canucks for Kids Fund. Guests have the opportunity to spend time with Vancouver Canucks players, coaches and senior management during a casino themed reception. The event also features silent and live auctions, all the proceeds from the event go towards the Canucks Autism Network and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
During my time at Canucks Sports and Entertainment, I had the opportunity to design the overall look of the 2019 Dice & Ice Event which would reflect both hockey and casino themes. I wanted to create something different from the previous years so I decided to go with a more simple yet elegant style. In order to add some texture and detail, I created a series of different patterns which was demonstrated across the different assets use for the event. I went for a very simple yet eye-catching colour palette which stills ties into the usual Canucks branding colours with the emerald green.
